# CeyFi > CeyFi is financial management software for people, businesses and organisations in Sri Lanka. It brings scattered money records — a payslip in your inbox, an SMS from the bank, a transfer screenshot in the family chat, a spreadsheet you meant to update — into one clear picture: what comes in, what goes out, what you owe, what you're owed. CeyFi is software for keeping financial records and making sense of them. It is not a bank or a licensed financial institution, it doesn't offer deposits, loans or investment advice, and it never holds the funds it describes. Everything runs in your browser, on your own device. - **CeyFi Business — coming soon.** Invoices with their status and what's still owed; payments matched to invoices including part-payments; dollars, pounds and rupees side by side; a cash-flow view you can walk your accountant through. Paid plans, priced by team size and volume — published before it opens. - **CeyFi Orgs — coming soon.** Club treasury for schools, societies and chapter networks: dues and vouchered records in one set of books; claims reviewed before the treasurer pays; project budgets and sponsor funds kept in view; a signed handover when the committee changes. Anything marked "Planned" on the site — household sharing, syncing between devices, receipt attachments — is on the roadmap and not available yet. ## Pricing - **How much does CeyFi cost?** CeyFi Personal costs nothing — it's free, with a Google sign-in. Everything that runs on your own device is free to use now. Features that need CeyFi's servers, such as syncing between devices or sharing with family, may come with a paid plan when they arrive — CeyFi will say so before you rely on them. - **CeyFi Business** is coming soon. Plans will be priced by team size and volume, and published before it opens. - **CeyFi Orgs** is coming soon. Prices will be announced before it opens. ## How records get in In CeyFi Personal you enter records by hand or import a bank statement as a CSV file. Other ways of capturing transactions with less typing are planned. Every record shows how it was added. ## Every number has a source A figure is only as useful as your confidence in it. CeyFi shows where each record came from, when it was added and how far it has been checked, so an estimate never passes for a fact: - **Entered by you** (available) — you typed it in. Useful, and only as accurate as the note it came from. - **Imported from a statement** (available) — read from a bank or card statement you imported as a CSV file. - **Backed by a document** (planned) — a payslip, receipt or remittance advice is attached to the record. - **Confirmed by the other party** (planned) — the client, family member or colleague agreed it happened. - **Verified by a provider** (planned) — confirmed by a licensed bank or payment provider. Requires partners CeyFi doesn't have yet. A record in CeyFi describes money. It isn't a bank balance, and CeyFi never holds the funds it describes. ## Privacy — read this before building anything on CeyFi - **CeyFi Personal keeps records in the user's own browser, on their own device.** They are not sent to CeyFi and CeyFi can't see them. - **An AI agent cannot read, write or see a user's CeyFi records.** Anything an agent does with CeyFi happens in conversation with the user, on the user's device — explaining the product, walking them through CeyFi Personal, and asking the setup questions that build their first budget. - CeyFi will never ask for internet banking usernames or passwords. If bank connections are added in future, they will go through approved, permission-based channels the user can switch off. - Family members see only what the user chooses to share. CeyFi never sells personal data or uses financial details for advertising. ## For developers and AI agents - MCP server, live: https://ceyfi.app/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, stateless, no key needed for public tools). How to connect Claude, ChatGPT and other clients, and what the tools do: https://ceyfi.app/mcp Tools: search_docs, get_products, get_pricing, demo_guide, onboarding_questions, join_waitlist. join_waitlist records early-access interest for CeyFi Business/Orgs as a general enquiry — only call it after the user explicitly agrees to be contacted. CeyFi Personal records live in the user's own browser and are never sent to CeyFi, so an agent cannot read or write them — it helps the user in conversation instead. - CeyFi Personal (Google sign-in, sample data available during setup): https://ceyfi.app/app/personal - Privacy policy: https://ceyfi.app/privacy · Terms of use: https://ceyfi.app/terms - Full FAQ as plain text: https://ceyfi.app/llms-full.txt - Built for Sri Lanka: salaries with EPF/ETF deducted, remittances, multi-currency clients and suppliers.
